Don't think about that....

It's always amused me that when someone says 'don't think about....' it becomes the only thing you can think about. Like if I said 'don't think about an elephant riding a unicycle' that's what you're gonna think about. It's as clever as saying 'don't look now but....' Of course they're gonna look

As you may have guessed, today is a day with not much to write about. My life is not actually a constant roller coaster of excitement.....sorry to disappoint you, and today has been a slow day

Started work at 6, went to work for those being anal about whether I actually did any work. A quiet day really, standard routine stuff apart from a woman that had managed to lose control and spin her car on a perfectly straight stretch of road. The police said there was no damage to motorway furniture* and she was not injured :-) however upon further inspection a hundred yards back, she had actually taken out 5 barrier support posts....that's gonna bump up her insurance claim

*I've never really understood the use of the word furniture to describe motorway barriers etc. I generally imagine a table and chairs or perhaps a lovely book case......'no damage to motorway furniture'...that's a relief, so I can still sit down with my spag bol for Eastenders

This afternoon Amelia was a little naughty and was sent to her bedroom, I went up for a 'chat', she went downstairs to apologise to her mum, and I proceeded to fall asleep on her bed....it's so comfy, a room swap has been suggested and Amelia may be sharing with Jac tonight

Jac then took Amelia out shopping with her sister, that's Jac's sister, not Amelia's, we haven't sneakily had another child without mentioning it.......or have we ;-) So it was a quick gym workout and stretch on the rumble roller, it's bloody hard, but it's very effective. If you have £60 to spare and like a bit of myofascial deep tissue massage then I would definitely recommend it

I don't feel as though I've seen enough teenage boys in tight speedos this week, so I was contemplating watching 'Splash' tonight, but I do have some paint drying and my grass hasn't grown for a while so I may not get a chance. Who knows, I may sneak in another film and make it 4 in 3 days, maybe I could watch 'Splash'....oh yeah, that's right, I got splash in there twice and yet I'm referring to different things, and Daryl Hannah in speedos could be ok.....though she may struggle to get them over her tail

Well who'd have thought I could write so much about nothing, and some people actually read this shit. So lets end now with an upsetting elephant picture, a dick flow chart and possibly the most pointless use of an umbrella
