Too much pressure

Today has been a very difficult day, for many reasons, none of which I'll publish in a blog...but understand that this is the reason why today's entry is not only late, but also short. In all honesty, I shall not promote it anyway, so no one will know what it says, but there you go

I worked today with my colleague that last week met Jimmy Carr at fleet services, and funnily enough we found ourselves at Fleet Services, however, no celebrities today.

I like parking in services because I love people watching, people going about their lives, every one different, but also so similar. We all have the same worries and problems, but we deal with them in different ways

We attended a car that had overheated, he had stopped at Winchester services to top up his radiator. He didn't need to, but wanted to make sure it was all ok. The problem is, he dropped his cooling system bottle cap down into the engine bay. He replaced the cap with a random plastic lid, that rested on top of said bottle

This gentlemen, was not aware that in order for water to travel around your engine, it needs pressure, hence the water bottle should have a screw cap. Still, he managed to get as far as fleet before he destroyed his engine......and all because he wanted to be conscientious

A period of this afternoon was spent at the pub with a mate, and we're all guilty of not seeing enough of our friends, drinks were drunk and crisps were crunched, an enjoyable few hours putting the world to rights

Today I have eaten a bag of starburst, a portion of chips and a bowl of malted wheats....they're like shreddies but for poor/tight people, I'm in some sort of self destruct mode I think.....this needs addressing sooner rather than later

This evening was just TV and now an early night....lets see what tomorrow brings

Bye bye for now
